Company culture

Equality, diversity and inclusion:
We are committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion, both within our team and in the services we provide to clients. We want to uphold and promote best practice and be an active partner in driving change, recognising that this is an ongoing process and commitment.

We want our workforce to include people from a wide variety of demographics and for everyone to feel fully able to share their unique perspective and fulfil their potential. We are developing and embedding an inclusive culture, characterised by fairness, dignity and respect for all. In this way we will enhance our collective wisdom, increase our creativity and innovation, and deliver better results for our clients.

We offer paid internships to enable those from less privileged backgrounds an opportunity to gain experience in the communications sector, and these are promoted on platforms specifically aimed at communities under-represented in the creative industries.

Wellbeing and development:
We seek to provide a healthy working environment for all our employees, recognising that recent societal changes such as the shift to hybrid working and increased digital activity have the potential for negative as well as positive effects. We have members of staff who are Mental Health First Aid trained and we run regular sessions with wellbeing experts on topics such as healthy habits, improving sleep, and good nutrition.

We believe we have a responsibility to care for our people, our communities, and our planet, and to operate in a socially and environmentally sustainable way and make a positive contribution. We use local suppliers wherever possible and seek to buy Fairtrade produce whenever available. We are working with the landlord of our rented office space to increase the proportion of our energy that is generated from renewable resources, and we are working to reduce the amount of single-use plastic we use and recycle other materials as much as possible – from glass bottles, cardboard and plastic food containers to the ink cartridges from our printers.

We want each of our employees to be a lifelong learner. We provide a structured in-house training programme, and provide funds for employees to attend third-party training in areas of interest. Each member of staff has a personal development plan which is reviewed and updated on a regular basis, and we provide mentoring opportunities for each employee to encourage and help them to reach their full potential.
