We believe in the power of communications to help solve organisations’ biggest commercial, operational and strategic challenges. We are curious, collaborative and committed to delivering excellence.

Our client executives are a crucial part of our team. The role offers an initial six months’ experience helping deliver client work and supporting a wide variety of corporate, marketing and new business initiatives. This can include monitoring media coverage, calling MPs’ offices, drafting meeting notes, compiling journalist lists, and conducting research.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills, competencies and experience:

  • Keen interest in and understanding of the current media and political landscapes.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, able to summarise complex ideas succinctly and with great attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, confident speaking up and sharing ideas.
  • Strong time management skills, able to prioritise effectively and deliver on multiple projects at once.
  • Confidence using technology and digital platforms, including AI and social media channels.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm, willing to use initiative to suggest new approaches and support the wider team.
  • Relevant work experience, and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

The programme is ideal for a recent graduate with a relevant 2.1 or higher degree who wants to begin their career in communications. Previous client executives have gone on to be offered permanent roles and progress to Associate Director level.

Client executives are paid the London Living Wage (£2150 per month based on working 35 hours per week). We offer a range of benefits, including a structured training and development programme and one-to-one mentoring. The majority of the client executive’s time will be spent in our central London office, but there is scope for a limited amount of hybrid working.

We value diversity of experience so we welcome interest from people from different backgrounds.

To apply, candidates should email a short covering letter AND/OR a one-minute video explaining why you are interested and how you meet the criteria to recruitment@luther.co.uk using the subject line ‘Client executive application’.
