Ruth Starling


Ruth has 25 years’ experience advising professional services and insurance businesses on their PR, marketing and communications needs through times of expansion, reflection, change and crisis.

An expert in helping businesses frame and deliver their strategic goals, she worked originally as a journalist in BBC radio and the pharmaceutical press before moving to Arthur Andersen as Head of Communications and PR where she reshaped the firm’s content strategy and led the transformation of its new business processes.

After working as an independent consultant to Andersen, Deloitte, KPMG, BDO Stoy Hayward and Lloyd’s of London, Ruth now leads Luther’s work for a variety of clients including EY’s Global Industry and Strategic Growth teams, Chubb and a variety of Lloyd’s businesses and their advisers.

Adept at helping companies tell their story in a way that engages audiences across multiple platforms and channels, Ruth loves working closely with business leaders to ensure they deliver on their communications and marketing objectives with creativity and flair.
