Jo Oka

Director of Strategy and Operations

Jo is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Luther’s company strategy and the professionalism of all operations. She manages team development and culture and wellbeing, working to ensure that every member of staff is fully equipped and supported to reach their full potential. A qualified Prince II project manager, Jo provides guidance to the team when setting up projects to ensure work is delivered within budgets and deadlines. She also acts as an independent point of contact for clients should they wish to raise issues with somebody outside the account team.

Jo has 16 years’ corporate communications experience. She spent 12 years as a corporate communications consultant, working for clients across the local government, education, charity, and financial sectors, and prior to joining Luther was Director of Communications at a think tank focused on growing prosperity in the UK and around the world. Jo is also a trustee of local charity Carers’ Hub Lambeth.
