  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, confident speaking in group situations.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and deliver on multiple projects at once.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm, eager to find solutions to challenges and suggest new approaches.

The core consultant responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with clients, journalists, politicians and other stakeholders.
  • Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant trends.
  • Conducting monitoring and horizon scanning and providing advice for clients on appropriate responses.
  • Liaising with MPs and their offices to secure engagement in client campaigns, and drafting related policy briefings.
  • Drafting and successfully pitching a wide range of media materials including press releases, statements and articles.
  • Confidently advising clients on how they can use social media channels to broaden engagement.
  • Helping organise events, including liaising with venues, compiling invitee lists and invitations and managing attendees.
  • Contributing to Luther’s new business and marketing activities.

The salary band for this role is £32,000 – £39,000 depending on experience and capability.

Luther offers a range of benefits to staff, including a structured training and development programme, annual company strategy days, one-to-one mentoring, discretionary annual bonus, new business and recruitment incentive schemes, additional annual leave for length of service, private medical insurance, interest-free travel and clothing loans, and cycle to work support.

We operate a hybrid model of working with the expectation that consultants will be in our central London office three to four days a week, depending on meetings and other client requirements.

We value diversity of experience so we welcome interest from people from different backgrounds.

To apply, candidates should email a short covering letter and CV explaining why you are interested and how you meet the criteria to recruitment@luther.co.uk using the subject line ‘Consultant application‘.
