Charles co-founded Luther Pendragon in 1992, built the company up and sold it to a management team in 2005. He continues to serve as an Associate of the company. Before Luther Pendragon, Charles was a journalist – initially on local newspapers, then with the BBC and ITN, where he became Programme Editor of News At Ten. Charles has also been Chairman of GPlus, a Brussels-based consultancy, and is currently Chairman of Editorial Intelligence. He has also served on the boards of two international charities, EveryChild and Merlin, both of which he helped found.
