Beany joined Luther Pendragon in 2003, from Winterthur Life, the UK life and pensions arm of the Credit Suisse Group, where she was Head of External Communications. Beany has over 15 years' experience in the media and communications and now advises clients on corporate communications, issues and crisis management.

A trained journalist, Beany has worked across a broad cross section of the media, both print and broadcast at local and national level. She has also run a number of press office functions for live events, including, heading all the communications for the Farnborough International Airshow 2004.

Beany has a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Leeds University and is currently the Equestrian Correspondent of The Sunday Telegraph.
